Alejo Carpentier en el Repertorio Americano

Abstract

Este artículo estudia los textos de Alejo Carpentier que publicó Joaquín García Monge en el Repertorio Americano. Argumento que a pesar de que se trató de una pequeña cantidad de artículos, este corpus es sumamente representativo de las preocupaciones estéticas del escritor cubano. En este sentido, adelantan, retoman y discuten las líneas constitutivas del pensamiento carpenteriano. Tales textos menores establecen, por otra parte, vinculaciones entre sí, dando testimonio de la gran coherencia intertextual de la poética de Carpentier.This article studies Alejo Carpentier’s texts published by Joaquín García Monge in Repertorio Americano. It argues that although they represent a small amount of articles, this corpus is extremely representative of the aesthetic preoccupations of the Cuban writer. In this sense, they advance, retake and discuss the constituent lines of the Carpenterian thought. Such smaller texts establish, on the other hand, entailments to each other, giving testimony of the great intertextual coherence of Carpentier’s poetic.
